VIP-WECO is a specialist no-dig pipe sealing system developed by VIP-Polymers, a UK manufacturer with over 100 years of experience in rubber sealing technology. Designed for use from inside the pipeline, the system helps repair leaking joints, cracks, misalignment and infiltration, reducing the need for excavation, disruption and downtime on water, sewer and infrastructure projects.
VIP-Polymers is a UK-based manufacturer specialising in high-performance sealing solutions for the pipeline, tunnelling, trenchless and rail industries. Established in 1923, the company has over a century of experience in polymer development, product design, testing and manufacturing.
Today, our seals are selected as original equipment by leading international manufacturers of ductile iron, plastic, concrete, GRP and clay pipeline systems. We have also developed and supplied gasket systems for major tunnelling projects around the world.
VIP-WECO No-Dig sealing systems
The VIP-WECO No-Dig pipeline rehabilitation system has been used extensively across the world and is used in various sectors including municipal water and sewer systems.
It has been designed to repair leaking sockets, accommodate dimensional deviations and misaligned joints.
Longitudinal damage can be repaired using the VIP-WECO CONNECT interlocking system which provides a permanent repair without the need for excavation work.

The VIP-WECO No-Dig Sealing System
The VIP-WECO no-dig pipeline repair system is used across the world in municipal water, sewer and infrastructure applications. Installed from inside the pipeline, the system is designed to seal leaking sockets, accommodate dimensional deviations, support misaligned joints and provide a practical repair method where excavation would be costly, disruptive or difficult.
VIP-WECO technical specifications:
- Up to 25bar sealing capability
- Can be used on all pipe materials
- DN185 to DN6000+
- Fast installation (as little as 30 minutes)
- Various grades of stainless steel available (for example: 1.4301, 1.4404, 1.462, etc)
- EPDM rubber material as standard however also available in Nitrile, FKM and HNBR.
- 280mm, 360mm and 480mm wide standard width.
- VIP-WECO CONNECT can be used for unlimited width repairs
VIP-WECO Installation and Training
VIP-WECO seals are installed from inside the pipeline using specialist equipment to apply controlled pressure to the rubber sealing element, creating a permanent watertight seal. The system can accommodate lateral movement, differential settlement and joint withdrawal, making it suitable for a wide range of pipeline repair conditions.
Installation and Training
VIP-WECO does not currently offer a direct installation service, but works with trusted UK and international installation partners. We can also provide training either at our Cambridgeshire manufacturing facility or on-site, depending on project requirements.
