VIP-WECO on Display at IFAT Munich 2026
IFAT Munich 2026 gave us a good chance to put the VIP-WECO range in front of people working across water, wastewater, drainage and infrastructure.
It was a busy few days, with plenty of conversations around pipe repair, ageing networks and the challenges that come with keeping systems running while reducing disruption on site.
A lot of the discussions came back to the same types of problems: damaged pipe joints, leaks, infiltration, difficult access and repairs that need to be carried out without unnecessary excavation.
That is where VIP-WECO has a real place.
Designed to repair pipes from the inside, VIP-WECO seals can help reduce excavation, downtime and disruption. For visitors who were new to the system, the stand gave us a simple way to explain how it works in practice and why it is used on trenchless repair projects in the UK and overseas.
There was also strong interest in the wider VIP-WECO range. This included systems for standard pipe joint repairs, drinking water applications, continuous sealing and remote installation in non-man-entry pipework. It gave us the chance to talk through different pipe sizes, materials, pressures and project requirements in a more practical way.
The stand also included other products from across VIP-Polymers, including VIPSeal flexible couplings and pipe sealing products, along with sealing solutions for tunnelling, rail and wider infrastructure applications. This helped show how the different VIP ranges can support projects across water, wastewater, drainage and civil engineering.
IFAT is always a busy week, but it is also a useful one. It gives us time to catch up with existing contacts, meet new people and better understand the types of challenges being seen across the industry.
A big thank you to everyone who stopped by the stand. Whether it was a quick hello, a closer look at the products, or a more detailed project chat, it was great to speak with so many people face-to-face.
We look forward to following up on the conversations from the show.
