VIP-WECO Takes No-Dig Sealing Solutions from the UK to New Zealand
VIP-WECO has completed a busy period of international exhibitions, showcasing its internal pipe sealing technology at two of the trenchless industry’s leading events: NO-DIG Live in the UK and International No-Dig Auckland in New Zealand.
Showcasing VIP-WECO at NO-DIG Live
The first stop was NO-DIG Live, held at NAEC Stoneleigh from 29 September to 1 October 2026.
The event provided an excellent opportunity to meet engineers, contractors, asset owners and other industry professionals looking for practical ways to repair and rehabilitate pipelines without excavation.
Visitors to the VIP-WECO stand were able to learn more about the complete system, including solutions for sealing leaking pipe joints, cracks, damaged liners and other localised defects from inside the pipeline.

From Stoneleigh to Auckland
Following NO-DIG Live, the VIP-WECO exhibition equipment travelled to New Zealand for International No-Dig Auckland, held at the New Zealand International Convention Centre on 28 and 29 October.
Bringing together trenchless technology specialists from across New Zealand, Australia and the wider international market, the event provided an important opportunity to discuss the different pipeline rehabilitation challenges faced across the region.
The exhibition also allowed the VIP-WECO team to strengthen existing relationships and introduce the system to engineers and contractors seeking long-term, mechanically secured internal sealing solutions.

VIP-WECO Remote on Display
A particular focus in Auckland was the VIP-WECO Remote system, developed for internal repairs within non-walkable pipelines where man-entry installation is not possible.
Its smooth-bore design helps minimise flow resistance and reduces the risk of snagging materials passing through the pipeline. The mechanically secured system provides a trenchless option for repairing leaking joints and localised defects in smaller-diameter pipelines.
Visitors were able to take a closer look at the system and discuss how it could be applied to future water and wastewater rehabilitation projects.
AS/NZS 4020 Approval
The Auckland exhibition followed confirmation from the Australian Water Quality Centre that the EPDM material used within the VIP-WECO internal sealing system has secured approval to AS/NZS 4020.
AS/NZS 4020 covers products and materials used in contact with drinking water and is recognised across Australia and New Zealand.
This approval strengthens the credentials of VIP-WECO for potable water applications within the region and represents another important step in the continued international development of the system.
Supporting Pipeline Rehabilitation Worldwide
From established UK infrastructure to drinking water and wastewater networks across Australia and New Zealand, the same fundamental challenges remain: ageing pipelines, leaking joints, restricted access and the need to minimise disruption.
VIP-WECO provides an adaptable internal sealing solution that can be manufactured to suit a wide range of pipe diameters, materials and operating conditions.
